LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past animated special coming to Disney+ in September

April 19, 2025 by Gary Collinson

In more news coming out of Star Wars Celebration in Japan, Lucasfilm has announced that last year’s animated miniseries LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is set to receive a sequel this September with the arrival of the four-part LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past.

The news was revealed by Rebuild the Galaxy showrunners and writers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit during a video appearance at Celebration, with Hernandez stating: “We’ve been asked, what’s next for Sig, Yesi, and Jedi Bob? Will there be more Darth Jar Jar? Star Wars Celebration fans, we’re excited to announce that their story will continue.”
