Lucky Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO

July 24, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Pokémon GO players will soon be able to get their hands on Lucky Pokémon.  The recent announcement from developers Niantic will give Pokémon trainers more reasons to start trading their Pokémon with the addition of a brand new trait.

Pokémon that are traded can take on the new lucky trait when they are traded although where this trait comes from is a mystery even to Professor Willow.  Those Pokémon that do manage to become Lucky will require less Stardust to power up which allows them to reach a higher CP much faster than others.  Lucky Pokémon can also be detected by the Pokédex, allowing trainers to keep track of them.  Those Pokémon who have been in storage for a longer period will have an increased chance in becoming Lucky.

Lucky Pokemon will be coming to Pokémon GO soon.

Professor Willow has made an important new discovery about Pokémon! His findings suggest that Pokémon can take on a new trait when they are traded. The trait’s origin is a mystery, and you can experience it soon in Pokémon GO!

According to his research, there is a chance that Pokémon, when traded, can become sparkly Lucky Pokémon. It seems that Lucky Pokémon require less Stardust to power up, which means they can reach a higher CP much faster than other Pokémon. Plus, a Lucky Pokémon can be detected by the Pokédex, so you can keep track of them!
