Luke Skywalker will reportedly feature in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer alongside Leia, Finn and Rey

February 14, 2017 by Robert Kojder

As excitement builds for our first peek at Star Wars: The Last Jedi, rumours have been doing the rounds that, much like the marketing campaign for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker will be absent from the teaser trailer. Well, according to Star Wars News Net, that is not the case after all, and Luke will reportedly be one of the featured characters in the heavily-anticipated teaser for The Last Jedi alongside Leia (Carrie Fisher), Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley).

There are rumors that Luke will not be in the first #TheLastJedi teaser. We heard the contrary. Luke, Leia, Finn and Rey will be there…

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set for release on December 15th 2017 and sees returning cast members Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix), Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke), Peter Mayhew and Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), Tim Rose (Admiral Ackbar), Mike Quinn (Nien Nunb), Simon Pegg (Unkar Plutt), and Warwick Davis joined by new additions Benicio Del Toro (Guardians of the Galaxy), Laura Dern (Jurassic Park), Kelly Marie Tran (Ladies Like Us) and Jimmy Vee (Pan) as R2-D2.
