During the San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. announced that Alan Moore’s classic Batman tale The Killing Joke is set for an animated adaptation next year. Hamill has previously stated on a number of occasions that he’d love to return to the role of The Joker for Batman: The Killing Joke, with fans even setting up a Facebook page back in 2011 to petition for his casting.
