Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again adds Nikki M. James

The cast of Marvel Studios’ Daredevil: Born Again continues to assemble, with Deadline revealing that Tony Award-winning actress Nikki M. James has joined the Disney+ series in an as-yet-unrevealed role.

James, who is best known for her role of Nabalungi in the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, joins a cast that includes Marvel veterans Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin as well as MCU newcomers  Michael Gandolfino (The Many Saints of Newark), Margarita Levieva (The Deuce) and Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo).

Daredevil: Born Again will be written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord (Covert Affairs), with filming on the 18-episode season set to take up much of this year ahead of the show’s premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
