Marvel’s The Punisher: One Last Kill sets May premiere on Disney+

March 26, 2026 by Gary Collinson

Daredevil: Born Again kicked off its second season on Disney+ today, and while we still don’t know whether we can expect another guest appearance from Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle ahead of his big screen outing Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Punisher will indeed be back on Disney+ before he shares the screen with Tom Holland’s web-slinger.

Premiering on the streaming service on May 12th – the same day as the Born Again season 2 finale – Marvel has officially announced the Bernthal-headlined ‘Special Presentation’, titled The Punisher: One Last Kill, with the unveiling of the official poster for the TV special…

The third ‘Special Presentation’ after The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and Werewolf By Night, The Punisher: One Last Kill is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (King Richard), who has co-written the script with Bernthal.

Details are scare at present, but Jason R. Moore is confirmed as reprising his role as Curtis Hoyle from The Punisher Netflix series, and the briefest of synopses from Disney+ reads: “As Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected for pulls him back into the fight.”

The Punisher: One Last Kill will premiere on Disney+ on May 12th 2026.
