Masters of the Universe: Forge of Destiny launching in September from Dark Horse

June 29, 2023 by Gary Collinson

As we await the upcoming sequel to Netflix and Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Dark Horse Comics and Mattel have announced a new prequel comic book series entitled Masters of the Universe: Forge of Destiny.

The series is written by Tim Seeley with art by Eddie Nunez, colours by Brad Simpson and lettering by AndWorld Design, the four-issue series will launch in September, helping to fill in the gap before the newly-rebranded Masters of the Universe: Revolution arrives on Netflix in 2024.

On the world of Eternia, a fragile balance exists between science and magic–a balance kept by the universe’s mightiest hero, He-Man! And on the island itself, the nefarious Evil-Lyn sets in motion a plan that could lead to all-out war!
