New trailer for Hot Wheels Unleashed reveals track building

July 9, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Milestone has unveiled more details on the Track Builder, a brand new game mode for the upcoming Hot Wheels Unleashed.  The track builder is the exact same tool that allows the developers to design the tracks in the game.  You can see more of this new mode in the trailer below, plus there’s also a short developer video on using the tool presented by Federico Cardini, Lead Game Designer.

Using the exact same tool that the developers use, players will be able to design their own iconic orange tracks filled with twists, bends and a wealth of different modules, such as T-Rex Escape, Spider Ambush, Hungry Cobra and more.

The track builder is not just a vast empty space to bring your ideas to life, it’s also a place where you can share creations with the world and even enjoy the tracks made by others.  With so much creativity in the world, why just limit yourself to playing on the included tracks?

The new trailer also reveals seven new vehicles out of the 60+ that will be included when the game releases.  For the Hot Wheels enthusiasts, the new vehicles that can be seen are 24 Ours, Off-Duty, Supercharged, RocketFire, Street Creeper, Surf ‘N Turf and Tricera-Truck.

Hot Wheels Unleashed will arrive on 30th September on Xbox One, Series X/S, Playstation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
