Official trailer for gothic horror The Baby in the Basket released

Debuting exclusively over at Coming Soon earlier today, we’re delighted to share the official trailer for The Baby in the Basket, our upcoming first foray into the world of independent film.

Directed by Nathan Shepka and Andy Crane, and written by FM veteran Tom Jolliffe, the film stars Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey), Michaela Longden (How to Kill Monsters), Elle O’Hara (Cara), Lisa Riesner (No Dogs Allowed), Nathan Shepka (When Darkness Falls), Annabelle Lanyon (Legend), Maryam d’Abo (The Living Daylights) and Paul Barber (The Full Monty).

A baby in a basket is left on the steps of an isolated monastery on a Scottish island. The nuns take it in, planning to care for it until a storm passes. Soon though, strange and unexplained events begin to happen at the convent.

The Baby in the Basket is set for release in the US and the UK on February 17th.
