Phil Lord and Chris Miller to write The Flash movie for Warner Bros.

April 10, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Deadline is reporting some big news coming from Warner Bros. and its DC Universe, with The Lego Movie and 21/22 Jump Street writer/directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller are set to write WB’s The Flash movie, which will star The Perks of Being a Wallflower’s Ezra Miller as the superhero speedster. Whether the duo will direct the film remains to be seen, but right now they are working on the treatment.

Miller will not only feature in the standalone film, but is set to join Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) in the two-part Justice League film, and may yet cameo in Dawn of Justice next year, although that is yet to be confirmed.

The Flash is currently set for release in March 2018.
