Playmobil announces Star Trek – U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701

August 23, 2021 by Gary Collinson

Iconic German toy manufacturer Playmobil has announced that it is set to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before with the upcoming release of the  U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from Star Trek: The Original Series.

The new fully-licensed set measures 1 metre in length and presents an authentic replica of the Constitution-class starship which is packed with play features, lights and sounds and dialogue from the show and can be controlled via an interactive Star Trek AR app. And of course, there’s also Playmobil versions of Captain Kirk, Dr. McCoy, Sulu, Uhura, Scotty, Chekov and Mr. Spock – the latter of which is the first Playmobil figure ever

Playmobil’s U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 is expected to launch in September, priced at £449.99.
