Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale to play Truth or Dare for Blumhouse

March 19, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale has joined the upcoming Blumhouse Productions supernatural thriller Truth or Dare, which is being directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2).

The film has been written by Wadlow, Chris Roach (Non-Stop) and Jillian Jacobs and follows “a college student in Mexico who is conned into playing a supernatural version of Truth or Dare. The game doesn’t stop and follows her back home.”

Blumhouse is off to a strong start in 2017, having scored two big box office successes in M. Night Shyamalan’s Split and Jordan Peele’s Get Out.

Hale is set to feature in the final season of Pretty Little Liars this April, and has recently completed filming on the feature film Dude, where she stars opposite Alexandra Schipp.
