After bringing back 24 and The X-Files, Fox has confirmed that Prison Break is the next show set for a revival on the network, with both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell set to return for a ten episode limited series alongside creator and executive producer Paul Scheuring.
“[It’s] a bit of a sequel, it picks up several years after the end of the series,” said Fox’s Dana Walden, adding that it will ignore the straight-to-video finale and provide “a logical and believable explanation to why the characters are alive and still moving around the world. The brothers and some of the iconic characters will be back, and it will address some questions that were set up at the end of the series for a new audience.”
