Rian Johnson’s Knives Out adds Michael Shannon and Lakeith Stanfield

October 11, 2018 by Gary Collinson

After casting Avengers: Infinity War’s Chris Evans last week, Star Wars: The Last Jedi helmer Rian Johnson has now made a further two additions to the cast of his next film Knives Out in Michael Shannon (Waco) and Lakeith Stanfield (Sorry to Bother You).

Knives Out is described as a murder mystery in the classic Agatha Christie whodunit style. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that Stanfield will play a detective alongside James Bond star Daniel Craig.

Filming on Knives Out is slated to get underway in November, with Johnson writing and directing, as well as producing with his regular producing partner Ram Bergman.
