The Saurian species have appeared in Star Trek before, credited as ‘Lizard-Like Diplomat’ in 1979’s Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date for season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery, but it is not expected to arrive on CBS All Access until 2019.
