Details on Star Trek: Discovery season two are being kept under wraps, but cast members Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Mary Wiseman, Mary Chieffo and James Frain are set to return, while Anson Mount (Inhumans) plays U.S.S. Enterprise Captain Christopher Pike, and Alan van Sprang (Shadowhunters) portrays the Section 31 agent Leland, who was introduced in an alternate ending to the first season.
As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date for Discovery season 2, but it is not expected to arrive until 2019.
