Star Wars concept art features early Ahsoka Tano live-action design

Disney+’s live-action Star Wars shows have certainly been good to fans of Dave Filoni’s animated series, with several characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels making the jump to live-action over the past couple of years – none bigger than that of Ahsoka Tano, with Rosario Dawson bringing life to the fan-favourite former Jedi.

As we await the Star Wars: Ahsoka series (which will introduce more animated characters into live-action, including Rebels’ Sabine Wren), some early concept art has surfaced online from artist Brian Matyas, which shows some early live-action designs for the character prior to Rosario Dawson’s casting in the role. The first two seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream now on Disney+ and features a cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Burr, Ming-Na Wen, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Timothy Olyphant, Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Amy Sedaris, Omid Abtahi, Rosario Dawson, Sasha Banks and Mark Hamill.
