Deadline is reporting that Franc’s Federation Entertainment (Marseille) and Italy’s Palomar (Inspector Montalbano) are teaming up for the steampunk western series That Dirty Black Bag, which is currently in development under creator Mauro Aragoni.
The eight-episode series will be shot in English, and takes place on a savage, scorched and deserted world where resources are scarce and it’s a daily struggle for survival. There, two men and two worlds will collide in an epic clash.
Aragoni is currently working on the scripts for That Dirty Black Bag with writers Silvia Ebreul and Marcello Izzo, and filming is set to get underway next year in Italy and other southern European counties.
