Suicide Squad 2 reportedly begins shooting in March 2018

Suicide Squad 2 is reportedly set to begin principal photography in March 2018.

The first film, a movie centred on various DC villains forced to take down an evil entity, was immensely successful at the box office, bringing in $745 million worldwide. But the film was panned by critics, much in the same vein as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Warner Bros. and DC have decided to listen to the ticket sales on this one and are moving ahead with a sequel – a sequel which is now reported to begin filming very soon.

My Entertainment World (via Omega Underground) has posted a listing for Suicide Squad 2, stating that the super-villain sequel will begin shooting in the middle of March 2018.

That isn’t a whole lot of time from now, which should mean that fans can expect to hear further casting and plot details in the near future.

At this stage, we know next to nothing, apart from that filmmaker Gavin O’Conner will be directing the movie. It is expected that Margot Robbie will return for the sequel.
