Tessa Thompson loves Avengers: Infinity War but says that “it’s just the beginning”

May 1, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Tessa Thompson has praised Avengers: Infinity War but has said that “it’s just the beginning”.

Now that Infinity War has kicked down the door at the box office and is busy collecting mountains of money, fans are starting to think about what will come next in Avengers 4.

Infinity War finishes on somewhat of a cliff-hanger and it certainly has the feeling of the start of a larger conflict to come. This is the exact sentiment of Tessa Thompson, star of Thor: Ragnarok, whose character Valkyrie was absent from the film.

Perhaps teasing her involvement in Avengers 4, Thompson praised Infinity War after seeing it but warned fans to prepare themselves for what comes next.

“Just saw Infinity WAR. (Finally) Oh my goodness, holy wow,” the actress wrote in a tweet. “I would say you’ve outdone yourselves @MarvelStudios + @Russo_Brothers.. but I know it’s just the beginning.”

Avengers 4 is as much a mystery as Infinity War was before its release but it’s hard to imagine how the next entry can top what the Russo brothers have managed in Marvel’s latest offering.
