Season 3 of The White Lotus already boasted an impressive ensemble, and now they’ve added a further five members to the cast, including Justified’s Walton Goggins and Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood.
As per Variety’s announcement the duo are joined by Sarah Catherine Hook (Impeachment: American Crime Story), Sam Nivola (Maestro), and Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V), in the third season of the critically acclaimed HBO series.
The quintet are added to a roll call of actors that includes Natasha Rothwell (Wonka) reprising her first season role as Belinda, Leslie Bibb (About My Father), Jason Isaacs (Archie), Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible – Fallout), Parker Posey (Lost in Space) Carrie Coon (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Dom Hetrakul (The Sky Without the Sun), Tayme Thapthimthong (Mechanic: Resurrection), Miloš Biković (Serf), Christian Friedel (Zone of Interest), Morgana O’Reilly (Mean Mums), Lek Patravadi (In Family We Trust) and Shalini Peiris (The Ark).
The dark comedy series will book them all into a Thai resort, with creator Mike White hinting that this third season will explore “death in Eastern religion and spirituality.”
Filming is due to get underway in locations such as Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand, sometime in February.
