Tom DeLonge’s Strange Times in development as animated TV series

December 12, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Former Blink 182 member Tom DeLonge is teaming up with TBS to develop an adult animated series entitled Strange Times, which is based upon his graphic novel and YA book series of the same name.

Written by Aaron Karo (Aaron Karo: The Rest Is History), Strange Times is described as “a love letter to punk rock culture and a middle finger to everybody else” and follows five teenage skateboarders who solve paranormal mysteries.

“My love for all things paranormal and skateboarding are sometimes only superseded by my love for offensive humor,” said DeLonge as part of the official announcement. “This series combines them all into one.”

DeLonge is set to executive produce the potential series along with Karo, The Cartel’s Stan Spry and Jeff Holland and Striker Entertainment’s Russell Binder.
