Tom Hardy to get Sticky with new BBC adult animated comedy series

July 29, 2017 by Gary Collinson

According to THR, Tom Hardy has joined the voice cast of the adult animated comedy pilot Sticky, where he’ll feature alongside Kayvan Novak (Four Lions, Fonejacker), Charlotte Riley (Edge of Tomorrow, Peaky Blinders) and Javone Prince (Phoneshop, The Javone Prince Show) – along with “guest appearances” from Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.

Sticky follows “four best friends who attend a college in the fictitious London borough of Shatford. When the internet suddenly disappears, the world is thrown into chaos. Can the friends cope offline? Who would kidnap the web, and why? How long do we really expect the planet to survive without internet porn? Only the gang can solve these questions as they embark on a thrilling rescue mission to infiltrate the headquarters of the mysterious perpetrators of this heinous web-based crime.”

Sticky is being produced by Too Tall Productions for the digital channel BBC Three.
