Trailer for Netflix comedy drama I Used To Be Famous starring Ed Skrein

August 16, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released a trailer, poster and images for director Eddie Sternberg’s comedy drama I Used to Be Famous which stars Ed Skrein, a former popstar dreaming of making a comeback, who forms an unexpected friendship with the talented autistic drummer Stevie (Leo Long) after an impromptu jam with the young musician.

Vince used to be in the hottest boy band around. Now the troubled former popstar is alone and desperate. He dreams of making a comeback and starts performing in the streets of Peckham, in the hope that someone, anyone, will listen. An impromptu jam with Stevie, an autistic young drummer with an incredible gift for rhythm, sparks an unexpected friendship between the two misunderstood musicians. Together they form a unique bond through the power of music.

Joining Skrein and Long in the cast of I Used to Be Famous are Eleanor Matsuura, Lorraine Ashbourne, Eoin Macken, and Stanley Morgan.

I Used to Be Famous arrives on Netflix on September 16th.
