Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 trailer introduces the Sisters of Battle

October 28, 2025 by Andrew Newton

A new trailer has been released for retro FPS Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, revealing the fearsome new character, Nyra Veyrath, a seasoned Sister of Battle. Watch this new trailer below to see Nyra cleansing the forces of Chaos…

The Sisters of Battle are an all-female militant wing of the Adeptas Sororitas sect of the Imperial Ecclesiarchy religious group, and although not as powerful as the Space Marine chapters, they are every bit as committed to eliminating the heretics, the traitors, and the xenos in righteous fire.

Nyra may not have the power armour of the Space Marines, but as a Celestian of the Sisters of Battle, she more than compensates with her great speed and agility. Nyra is a skilled and remorseless fighter who will not hesitate to charge into battle in the Emperor’s name.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 continues where the first game ended and has players battle through a single-player campaign that fuses the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe with a 90’s retro-style FPS.

Players will be able to choose between Nyra or the Ultramarine Malum Caedo, both with their own unique weapons, abilities and playstyles, and wield a variety of devastating new weapons to take on the forces of the Chaos powers.

Alongside the cheeky little Nurglings and the Chaos Cultists, players will also face all-new enemies, including the terrifying Bloodletters and the bloodthirsty Juggernaut of Khorne.

Look out for more on Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 coming soon.
