December 16, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Currently playing in limited release in U.S. theaters, Neon has dropped a brand new trailer for writer-director Ava DuVernay’s critically-acclaimed drama Origin.

Inspired by the New York Times Bestseller Caste: The Origins of Our Discontent, Origin stars Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Niecy Nash-Betts, Nick Offerman, and Blair Underwood. You can read our ★★★★ review of the film here, and check out the trailer below…

While grappling with tremendous personal tragedy, Isabel sets herself on a path of global investigation and discovery. Despite the colossal scope of her project, she finds beauty and bravery while crafting one of the defining American books of our time.

Origin is in theaters January 19, 2024, and hits U.K cinemas February 9, 2024.
