Zachary Levi is Kurt Warner in trailer for NFL biopic American Underdog

Having headlined spy-series Chuck and DC blockbuster Shazam!, Zachary Levi is used to suiting to up to transform mild-mannered underdogs into superheroes, so while production continues on Fury of the Gods, Lionsgate have released a first look at his upcoming Kurt Warner biopic American Underdog; take a look below….

Based on interviews with Warner and his memoir All Things Possible: My Story of Faith, Football, and the First Miracle Season, the film is being directed and produced by Jon and Andrew Erwin and will explore the career of the quarterback, who is widely regarded as one of the top undrafted players in the history of the NFL.

Kurt Warner is a former NFL quarterback who played for 12 seasons, ascending from an undrafted free agent to a two-time Most Valuable Player and Super Bowl MVP, his is regarded as one of the greatest stories in NFL history. American Underdog also stars Anna Paquin and Dennis Quaid.
