Warner Bros. CEO talks Ben Affleck’s Batman

September 13, 2013 by admin

During an investor conference call yesterday Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has spoken about the controversial casting of Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, stating that the actor is “perfect” for a role which will see him as a “tired, and kind of weary and seasoned” Batman.

“Ben is perfect for the vision Zack has for that character,” states Tsuhihara via The Hollywood Reporter. “The fact that you saw such a passionate response in the blogosphere is really kind of a testament to the love that people have for this character.”

Batman vs. Superman is set for release on July 17th, 2015, with Affleck joined in the cast by returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.
