Daniel Radcliffe says he would be “perfect” for Robin alongside Ben Affleck’s Batman

June 22, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Despite the fact he’s enjoyed a number of acclaimed roles following the end of the Harry Potter saga, Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t quite managed to climb out of the shadow of the Boy Wizard just yet.

However, it doesn’t appear like that’s put him off from further franchise roles, with the actor taking the opportunity to express an interest in playing Robin the Boy Wonder in Warner Bros.’ DC movie universe.

“Batman, if they reboot that again I’ll do that too,” said Radcliffe when asked by Buzzfeed if he’d be open to appearing in a future franchise. “It’s happening, isn’t it. With Ben Affleck. I could be Robin. I’m perfect.”

While Zack Snyder has cast virtually every DC superhero in existence (okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration)  in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Dick Grayson is one character yet to be confirmed, despite early rumours that he would make an appearance. But even if Robin is absent from Batman v Superman, it’s surely only a matter of time before the Dynamic Duo reunite on the big screen.

Would you like to see Daniel Radcliffe as Robin? Let us know your thoughts…
