Jack Huston is the latest name rumored for Doctor Strange

August 26, 2014 by James Garcia

Take this news with a grain of salt, but according to This Is Infamous, Boardwalk Empire actor Jack Huston is in the running to play the Sorcerer Supreme in Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange film.

While the up-and-coming actor’s reps refused to comment, the site claims that its sources “confirm that Jack Huston is under consideration to take the Doctor Strange lead and is definitely in the running.”

If true, Huston is now one of many in contention for the role. Over the last few months, several names have been added to the mix, including Benedict Cumberbatch (who has denied involvement), Tom Hardy, Johnny Depp, Jared Leto, Deliver Us From Evil‘s Edgar Ramirez, Joaquin Phoenix, and Jon Hamm, who This Is Infamous actually claimed had been cast with their last Doctor Strange scoop.

Who would you like to see take the role of Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme? Do you think Jack Huston would be a good Doctor Strange? Let us know in the comments below.
