Nightwing to lead a live-action Teen Titans TV series

September 12, 2014 by Gary Collinson

This upcoming TV season will see DC Comics’ live-action output expanding to four shows, with The Flash, Constantine and Gotham set to join Arrow. Warner Bros. also has Supergirl at the development stage, and now we can add another potential show to that list with Deadline revealing that a live-action Teen Titans adaptation, Titans, is nearing a pilot order at TNT.

Titans has been written by Akiva Goldsman (Batman Forever, Batman & Robin) and Marc Haimes (The Last Word), and will centre on Dick Grayson, “who emerges from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including Starfire, Raven and many others.”

Are you excited about the prospect of seeing Nightwing and the Teen Titans on the small screen?
