Wes Bentley (Interstellar) is the latest actor to join the cast of the remake of Disney’s Pete’s Dragon according to The Wrap.
The film is a remake of the 1977 movie which featured live action actors alongside a cartoon dragon. It follows “a young orphan seeks refuge from his abusive adoptive parents with the help of a pet dragon and a couple who live in a lighthouse.”
Pete’s Dragon is due for release in 2016, with a cast that includes Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Robert Redford (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Oakes Fegley (This Is Where I Leave You) as Pete.
