During a promotional interview with Collider to discuss his Blunt Talk TV series, Patrick Stewart has confirmed that he’ll be reprising the role of Professor Charles Xavier for 2017’s third Wolverine solo movie, while his comments also seem to support Hugh Jackman’s tease about an Old Man Logan adaptation.

“I think what you say is true. There is a project in development,” said Stewart when asked about the rumours linking him to the film. “I understand that Professor Xavier will be making more than an appearance, however, and that intrigues me. And the idea of an old Wolverine – I’m really looking forward to Hugh Jackman getting old. You know, damn him. He looks so great! So I’m hoping to see him covered in prosthetics, you know? And then he’ll make me look better if that’s the case.”
