Marvel’s Joe Quesada talks Iron Fist Netflix series

March 13, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Now that Marvel has found its Danny Rand for the upcoming Iron Fist series in Game of Thrones star Finn Jones, expect to hear plenty about the latest Netflix show as it gears up to go into production ahead of its expected arrival next year.

Speaking at the New York premiere of Daredevil season two, Marvel’s Joe Quesada has been teasing how Iron Fist will differ from the studio’s other Netflix shows:

“I think the Danny Rand character himself will have a different perspective on the world than some of the characters that you’re seeing now — as will Luke Cage,” states Quesada (via EW). “Our goal is to provide four different shows that each have their own feel while, again, feeling like they are a part of a whole. It’s still the early stages of Iron Fist, so I’m a little hesitant to say too much more than that. But Danny Rand is a completely different character, and the world that he comes from, how he obtained his powers and his skills — all completely different. I think fans will be pleased.”
