Logan Marshall-Green and Martin Starr join Spider-Man: Homecoming

June 17, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Following the casting of Donald Glover (Community) earlier this week, it has now been reported that Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus) and Martin Starr (Silicon Valley) have joined Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Details of their roles are being kept under wraps, but it’s said that Marshall-Green will be a supporting villain alongside Michael Keaton’s main bad guy. Keaton is thought to be playing The Vulture, with an earlier rumour suggesting that Adrian Toomes would be aided by The Tinkerer, so it’s possible that this could be Marshall-Green’s character.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is being directed by Jon Watts (Cop Car) and sees Tom Holland and Marisa Tomei reprising their roles from Captain America: Civil War as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Aunt May. They’ll be joined by Marvel regular Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, alongside Michael Keaton (Birdman), Michael Barbieri (Little Men), Zendaya (K.C. Undercover), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Donald Glover (Community), Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) and Kenneth Choi (Captain America: The First Avenger). It is set for release on July 7th 2017.
