Crazy Mad Max Rip-Offs That Are Worth Your Time

May 1, 2021 by Red Stewart

Marvelous Videos presents ten Mad Max rip offs actually worth your time….

Like so many 70s and 80s science fiction films, Mad Max imprinted itself on film audiences. There was something about a lone cop turning into a vigilante for justice that appealed to people, especially against that gorgeous desert backdrop and dystopian themes.

Unfortunately, lack so many of those aforestated 70s and 80s flicks, Mad Max was too influential for its own good. Many producers and filmmakers tried to emulate what George Miller and Mel Gibson had done, only they lost sight of its appeal, resulting in corporate products that were often so bad that they actually ended up being humorously good.

As such, our pals at Marvelous Videos have compiled a list of ten of the craziest Mad Max rip-offs which are actually worth your time in Hell Comes to Frogtown (1988), Steel Dawn (1987), 2019: After the Fall of New York (1983), Dead-End Drive In (1986), Equalizer 2000 (1987), 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982), The Exterminators of the Year 3000 (1983), Phoenix the Warrior a.k.a She-Wolves Of The Wasteland (1983), Metalstorm: The Destruction Of Jared-Syn (1983) and Steel Frontier (1995); check out the video here…
