Agent Carter series a go at Marvel?

January 3, 2014 by admin

If the British tabloid The Daily Mirror is to be believed, Marvel is set to expand its TV output beyond Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the upcoming Netflix series for Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders this year, with the paper reporting that the green light has been given to Agent Carter, a spin-off of the Iron Man 3 Marvel One-Shot featuring Hayley Atwell’s WWII heroine Peggy Carter.

Now while The Mirror probably isn’t the most reliable of sources, all signs do point to Agent Carter becoming a reality; Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb has teased the possibility of the series, Hayley Atwell has admitted she’s keen to return to the character, and Neal McDonough has suggested that he’s been called in with regards to reprising the role of Dum Dum Dugan. So, don’t be surprised if we hear something official from Marvel – maybe around the release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Would you like to see Hayley Atwell heading up an Agent Carter TV series? Let us know in the comments below….
