Elden Henson cast as Foggy Nelson in Daredevil

June 27, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Marvel and Netflix has announced that Elden Henson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay) has joined the cast of the upcoming miniseries Daredevil in the role of Foggy Nelson, best fiend and legal partner of Matt Murdock.

“Elden plays one of the most important characters in the world of Marvel’s Daredevil, and we’re thrilled to see Foggy Nelson brought to life by such an incredibly talented actor,” said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. “He perfectly captures the heart and soul of this series, bringing an added resonance to Matt Murdock’s fight against the injustice in their great city.”

Daredevil is set to start production next month, with Charlie Cox (Stardust) playing the blind lawyer / superhero Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket) as the Kingpin, and Rosario Dawson (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) in an as yet unrevealed role.
