Sigourney Weaver reuniting with Alien cast for Alien: Isolation

July 9, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Sigourney Weaver is to reprise her signature role as Ellen Ripley – albeit in video game form – with the actress set to reunite with the cast of Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic for a pre-order bonus pack for the upcoming Alien: Isolation. Weaver will be joined by Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronic Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett) and Yaphet Kotto (Parker), all of whom have recorded new dialogue for the game and will have their likenesses appear in bonus levels. Here’s a shot of the crew of the Nostromo…

The original crew will feature in two missions: ‘Crew Expendable’, which takes place after the death of Brett and gives gamers the choice of playing as Ripley, Dallas or Parker; and ‘Last Survivor’, which Ripley has to activate the self-destruct on the ship and make it to the Narcissus in order to escape the alien. Check out the trailer here, courtesy of IGN…

Alien: Isolation is set for release on October 7th.
