David Duchovny talks X-Files revival, “more than happy” to return as Mulder

January 21, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Over the weekend Fox announced that it is in discussions to bring back the cult 90s TV series The X-Files for a 24: Live Another Day-style revival, and now David Duchovny has spoken about the prospect of returning as FBI Special Agent Fox Mulder, stating that he’s “more than happy” to do so.

“[I’m] more than happy and excited to bring it back and do it again with Gillian Anderson and Chris Carter. I’m assuming that it will happen sooner rather than later now. We’ll see what form, how many [episodes]. Certainly I can’t nor would I be interested in doing a full season. It will be in some kind of limited form. We’re all old, we don’t have the energy for a full season.”
