Comic Book Review: Miami Vice Remix #2

April 28, 2015 by Andrew Newton

Andrew Newton reviews Miami Vice Remix #2…

Someone from Crockett’s past is back and promises that Detective Sonny Crockett will pay for his crimes!

Issue #2 of Miami Vice Remix hits the shelves and more reasons for the purists to avidly buy but get frustrated.  For those who stay open minded and see the story for what it is then this issue is really getting a bit more bizarre, but in a good way.

I’ll not give any spoilers as to what happens but suffice to say, it is certainly never a situation that I expected to find Crockett and Tubbs in.

The storyline itself is very enjoyable and this issue is more entertaining than issue #1. I’m hoping that now the story is getting into a good flow and that I’ve got my head round the remix we will see this series get better and better.

The art is still as good as tje last issue and although it’s not to my taste it is none the less well drawn and will appeal to many.

All in all, I’m happy with the quickening pace and the quirky thinking for the storyline.  Looking forward to issue #3.
