John Gallagher Jr. joins James Gunn’s The Belko Experiment

May 20, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Acclaimed actor John Gallagher Jr. (The Newsroom, Short Term 12) has joined the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn’s new project The Belko Experiment.

Gunn took to his Facebook page to announce Gallagher’s casting for the film, which Gunn has written and will co-produce with Peter Safran (Annabelle). Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) will direct, and filming is set to get underway in Colombia in June.

The film tells the story of a company which seals off its building and surroundings at the start of a normal work day, and orders its employees to either kill each other or be killed themselves.
