Writer and Director James Gunn has revealed that the first draft for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has now been completed. Taking to his social media, Gunn said:
“Phew. After 48 days straight without a day off, the the first draft of #GotG2 is done. I’m sorry to all my friends and family who I have ignored.”
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will go into production next year and will be released on April 28th 2017 in the UK and on May 5th in the States. Confirmed as returning to the cast are Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebulda) and Michael Rooker (Yondu).
