ABC orders Monstropolis pilot from Saw writers

August 4, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that ABC Studios has given a put pilot commitment to Monstropolis, a new genre-themed project from Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, the screenwriters behind the likes of the final four Saw movies and the Feast trilogy. The pilot will be produced by Aaron Kaplan (Secrets & Lies).

The project takes place in a world where “monsters are real, living amongst the humans in the city of New Manhattan (aka Monstropolis).  But now someone is killing monsters, and it is up to one disgraced detective to stop the killer… or become the next victim.”
