Leonardo DiCaprio reuniting with Martin Scorsese for The Devil in the White City

August 11, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Paramount Pictures has closed a deal for Erik Larson’s book The Devil In The White City: Murder, Magic And Madness At The Fair That Changed America, with the film adaptation set to reunite Leonardo DiCaprio with director Martin Scorsese.

The film will see DiCaprio starring as Dr. HH Holmes, a nineteenth century serial killer who is estimated to have killed between 27 and 200 victims in Chicago in his notorious “murder castle”, the World’s Fair Hotel. The project will be scripted by Billy Ray, whose credits include The Hunger Games, State of Play and Captain Phillips.

DiCaprio will next been seen in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s The Revenant, alongside Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter, which is out at Christmas.
