Rumour: Kraven the Hunter could be the villain in Spider-Man solo movie

August 5, 2015 by Luke Owen

With the writers now on board for the Spider-Man solo movie, we can expect to see a plethora of new rumours and speculation hitting the Internet from the usual sources on who the villain will be.

“Sources” for Heroic Hollywood have informed them that Sony’s Vice President for Creative Affairs Karen Moy has purchased a copy of Kraven’s Last Hunt, a comic book that has been voted as one of the best Spider-Man stories ever told. Mayimbe has theoriesed then that because Moy used to buy comic books and trade paperbacks for Amy Pascal when she was in charge, this could be a hint that Kraven the Hunter will be the main villain for the Spider-Man solo movie. El Mayimbe’s sources also noted that Sony have to buy their own comic books because Marvel are “cheap” and won’t send any over.

As Mayimbe puts it, “this can’t be a coincidence”. I think you’ll find it can. No confirmation yet, so take this with a pinch of salt.
