Fist Fight set to add Christina Hendricks

September 26, 2015 by Scott J. Davis

Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is in talks to join the cast of New Line’s school comedy Fist Fight, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ice Cube (Ride Along) and Charlie Day (Horrible Bosses) lead the cast of the comedy that has recently added Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) and Tracey Morgan (30 Rock) to its ranks. Hendricks will play an “intense drama teacher with the hots for Ice Cube’s character.”

Richie Keen (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) is directing the film which tells the story of “two local teachers (Day and Ice Cube) who work in a broken-down school system and wind up in an epic fist fight.”

Hendricks has been plenty busy since Mad Men ended earlier this year, appearing in Ryan Gosling’s Lost River, and has recently reunited with her Drive director Nicholas Winding Refn for The Neon Demon, which opens next year.
