Exclusive: Two tracks from Mario Sévigny’s The Art of More score

November 14, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Thanks to Crackle, we’ve got our hands on two exclusive tracks by composer Mario Sévigny for the upcoming drama series The Art of More, entitled ‘Trespassing Sacred Land’ and ‘Roxanna’s Ambitions’.

“The Art of More is an amazing show for a composer,” states Sévigny. “All of the show’s intros are in a different time period, so it was very stimulating, creativity wise, to find themes of the 60’s or even 1700 to explain where the piece of art was coming from. During the track ‘Trespassing Sacred Land’ two of the characters are crossing a border illegally. Through pulses and interventions the track really adds suspense to the scene and lets the viewer know something more is about to happen. It was fun scene to score!”

An intense, one-hour drama set in the high-stakes world of New York auction houses, ‘The Art of More’ stars Dennis Quaid, Cary Elwes and Christian Cooke. The series follows Graham Connor, a blue-collar young man who leverages his way into the exclusive realm of premium auction houses by exploiting connections to antiquities smuggling rings he was exposed to as a soldier in Iraq. Kate Bosworth plays Roxanna Whitman, daughter of the CEO of one of two warring auction houses, whose intrigue and drama is at the heart of this groundbreaking drama.

The Art of More premieres on Crackle on November 19th.
