Marvel’s Joe Quesada dismisses rumours that Iron Fist has been scrapped

November 19, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Last month, a rumour emerged over at Bleeding Cool suggesting that Marvel is going to pull Iron Fist from its Netflix slate, with a subsequent report claiming it would be replaced by a Punisher series.

Well, according to Joe Quesada, that’s simply not the case, with Marvel’s CCO brushing aside the rumour when asked by IGN about the current status of Iron Fist:

“Iron Fist is being worked on, that’s all I can say. That’s all I can say. Where did you read these rumours? They were on the internet? So they must be true.”

So, there you have it… Danny Rand is still heading to the small screen, and will presumably be linking up with the rest of The Defenders as planned.
