Rumour: Colin Farrell, Monica Bellucci, Ron Perlman and Ewan McGregor said to be up for Justice League Dark

November 17, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Back in October, it was revealed that Warner Bros. intends on moving forward with its Justie League Dark adaptation Dark Universe, with producer Scott Rudin boarding the project following the departure of Guillermo del Toro.

With the supernatural DC ensemble being eyed for production in 2016, Latino-Review is now claiming to have the inside scoop on the current casting plans.

According to the site, Colin Farrell is frontrunner to play John Constantine, with Ewan McGregor also in the frame, and whichever one loses out on the role of the supernatural detective could instead be offered the part of Jason Blood, a.k.a. Etrigan the Demon.

Furthermore, it’s said that del Toro wanted regular collaborator Ron Perlman to play Swamp Thing, which is still on the cards, while Monica Bellucci is up for the role of Madame Xanadu.
